Deputies respond to Hilton Head bank robbery

HILTON HEAD, S.C. (WCIV) -- The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office responded to an armed robbery that occurred at Atlantic Community Bank on the South end of Hilton Head Tuesday.

The suspects are described as two black males, one wearing a white golf shirt with gray/black stripes with a teal colored shirt underneath and dark pants, the other wearing a black shirt and blue jeans with a white bag or pillowcase over his head.

The suspects reportedly fled the area on foot towards Pope Ave. No injuries were reported.

A perimeter has been established and deputies are turning away all pedestrian traffic in the area of Corpus Christi. Anyone with a sighting of any suspicious person(s) matching the suspects' descriptions is asked to call 911.
