Regions giving away green bikes

Posted: Updated:

Regions bank will give some of its signature green bikes today.  The Regions Bank Management Associate Program will donate some of those green bicycles to a number of non-profits in Birmingham, but first members of that program have to put the bikes together.

The groups who will get the bikes will include:
  • The United Way of Central Alabama
  • Pathways – A United Way agency serving homeless women and children
  • Owens House – The Shelby County Children’s Advocacy Center
  • Glenwood Autism and Behavioral Heath Center
According to Jeremy King, VP of Corporate Communications, the Management Associate Program  includes professional training, team building exercises, and community service projects.  Participants are recent college graduates who are beginning careers in the financial services industry.
