BCSO arrest 5 for Cane Bay vehicle break-ins

 SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV)-- Berkeley County Sheriff's deputies arrested five people, including two juveniles, after a string of vehicle break-ins.

According to a release from the BCSO, the thefts were from from several vehicles in the Cane Bay Subdivision.

BCSO officials said one suspect was seen standing next to a vehicle he had just broken into, and deputies found the stolen items in his possession.

After his arrest, four more people were arrested.  

One of the juveniles was charged with misprision of a felony, and giving false information to police. He was released to his parents. The other juvenile was sent to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia.

Another suspect, 18-year-old Tyler Silence of Summerville, was charged with burglary in the first degree and multiple vehicle break-ins. He was given a $75,000 surety bond.

The other two suspects, 17-year-old Lawrence Frangos,Jr. and 19-year-old William Countee III of Moncks Corner are both charged with burglary in the first degree and multiple vehicle break-ins. They were each given a $70,000 surety bond.
