Harold white told WACHFOX News, how devasting the loss of his child Chandreka Graham is. According to white, Graham was a social worker, wife, and expecting mom.

"She was a very kind, caring, very free-spirited young woman, very family-oriented and that's what hurts the most. She was so looking forward to having this baby," said White.

Jerrod Graham was in bond court at the Alvin S. Glenn detention center. He is facing a murder charge after Richland County Deputies say he killed his wife and their unborn child.

The family tells WACHFOX News that Chandreka Graham was seven months pregnant.

"She always told me if I'm not answering my phone I'm doing my job so I took that as that's what she was doing, so just to find out that I was that close to her and the reasons he did not answer the phone was because she was deceased," said White

Deputies were called to do a wellness check at Graham’s home in Northeast Columbia. When they got there, they met with the caller and were able to see Graham inside the home, but she wasn’t responding.

Deputies forced their way into the house and found Graham with significant head trauma.

She was pronounced dead on the scene. At this point, investigators don’t know what caused her injuries.

According to White, Graham also had a one-year-old son with Jerrod Graham.

Funeral arrangements will be in Greenwood where her family lives.
